Mae Jean Kimbrough age 92, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother James McCullar is officiating. Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Kimbrough was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Lelah Prince, husband, Lewis Kimbrough, son, Larry Kimbrough, who was the apple of his mother's eye, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include daughters, Sue Jones (Bill), Judy Nix (Larry); grandchildren: Bryan James (Jennie), Sarah Patti (Stan), Kelly Jones, Elizabeth Kimbrough; great-grandchildren, Micheal, Jade and Kari; sister, Eddice Farris; sister-in-law, Elsie Mae Prince; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Kimbrough was a lifelong resident of Colbert County, a member of Crooked Oak Baptist Church and a homemaker.
A special thanks to Laura Lay for the love and care given to our dear mother for the past ten years.
