Sara J. Aday, age 54, of Tuscumbia, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary, with Brother Greg Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
Sara was born Jan. 30, 1955. She attended Colbert County High School and Northwest-Shoals Community College. She later moved with her husband to Douglasville, Ga., where she worked for Turner Broadcasting until cancer disabled her. She continued to have hope and courage until her last breath.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Amanda Aday; father, Thomas L. Aycock; mother, Nell J. Aycock; and her father-in-law, Raymond Aday Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Aday Jr.; daughter, Ramona Aday Osborn; son, Raymond "Trey" Aday III; sisters, Carolyn Willich and husband, Larry, Patsy Kelley and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Tyler W. Osborn and Rachel L. Osborn; mother-in-law, Lucille Aday; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Tennessee Valley for their kindness and support to our family in our time of need and for their efforts in making Sara's last days as comfortable as possible.
