Wyatt Desmond Wells, 91, Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Cottage of the Shoals in Tuscumbia.

He lived all his life in Franklin County and was a member of the Isbell First United Methodist Church. He was a World War II veteran and retired from Ford Motor Co.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 31, 2014, from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ty Wells officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his daughter, Kaye Swinney and husband, G.C.; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Lucille DeVaney (Judy) Wells; parents, Edward Russell and Mattie King Wells; sisters, Elizabeth Kimbrough and Stella Hyde; brothers, Russell, Claude, Charlie, Johnny, Curran, Willard, Ralph and Roy Wells.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Kimbrough, Donnie Duncan, Kip Wells, Oliver Franklin, Sam Jones and David Hyde.
