Virginia Segers McMullan, 86, of Florence, died Friday April 18, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Greenview Funeral Home with the service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McMullan was born in Lauderdale County to the late Thomas and Sara Peden Segers. She was a member of the Pisgah Methodist Church and a home maker.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Willie Clyde McMullan; brothers, John Segers, Jimmie Lee Segers and Charlie Segers; sisters, Ruby Pettus, Mary Ella Myrick and Tommie Ruth Baker. Survivors are her children, William Jonathan McMullan (Pamela) and Wanda Joyce Bassham (Earl); brothers, George Segers (Shirley) and Carl Segers; sister, Janice Springer (Rodney); granddaughter, Lindley Bassham.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her sister-in-law, Lois Tucker; Amedysis Home Health, Hospice of the Shoals, Elder Care Services especially Linda and Jenny and the doctors of Northwest Alabama Cancer Center.
Pallbearers will be David Delano, William McClure, Chris Springer, Michael Tucker, Steve Myrick, and Jeremy French.
