Sandra Lynn "Sandy" Mobley, 48, of Cherokee, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, with Brother Andy Elliott and Brother Scott Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Sandra was a native of Chicago, Illinois, and was employed as a security guard for Cherokee Nitrogen. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee and a member of the Cherokee Fire & Rescue. She was preceded in death by her son, Casey Wade Burns, and father, Dennis G. O'Connor.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Mobley; mother and stepfather, Eva and Robert B. Bradley, of Golden, Mississippi; stepson, Justin Alan Mobley, of Cherokee; brother, Michael Edward, of Red Bay; sisters, Lori J. Hastings, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Jennifer Long (Steven), of Iuka, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tom Watson, George Ivey, Randy Byrd, Jimmy Dale Thomason, William James and Tommy Sledge. Honorary pallbearers include Cherokee Fire & Rescue and her many friends.
