Loreder Dotson Sandy, age 92, of Loretto, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, at home after a sudden illness. She was a native of Giles County, Tennessee, a homemaker and a member of the Fairview First Congregational Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. Paul Monk will be officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.

Survivors are three sons, William E. Dotson, Grand Junction, Tennessee, Melvin W. Dotson, Red Bay, Alabama, and Robert E. Dotson, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; one brother, Elmer Wilson, Saint Joseph, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brown and Martha Wilson; husbands, Leon McIntyre, Almon Dotson and Johnny Sandy; one son, Hubert McIntyre; one brother, Carl Wilson; and one sister, Ethel Wilson Green.
Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
