Forrest Eugine (Frosty and Pop) Elliott, 77, Cherokee, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, of Cherokee. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at Harris Chapel Cemetery. John Davis and George Henley will officiate.
Mr. Elliott was a native of Cherokee, a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from LaRoche Industries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Highfield Elliott and W.T. (Buddy) Elliott; daughter, Marilyn Ann McWilliams; grandson, Joey Alan Pugh; sisters, Ossie Borden and Hazel Posey.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanette Elliott; son, Danny Elliott and wife, Katrina; daughter, Carolyn Stewart and husband, Reed; grandchildren,
Krystal Elliott, Matthew McWilliams and Michael McWilliams.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Sullivan, Steve Worsham, Dexter Rosser, Randy Thompson, Morris Barnes, Keith Borden, Jason Borden and Chester Borden.
Jackie Borden will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Hospice of Tennessee Valley, Cherokee Rescue Squad, Marie Sutton, Jerry Sullivan, Peggy Posey and Diane Wallace.
