Not sure what to say?

I went to the Blessed Sacrament School with Joe. In my search of my old school chums I came across Joe's obituary. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember him as a very outgoing individual.

We are so sorry to hear that Coach Walsh passed away. My son attended the Harvard baseball camp for about 5 years and he gave my son his first catcher's glove. When I was talking to one of the other parents at drop off at camp one day about 6 years ago and we were talking about Coach Walsh. She described the Coach as the nicest person you could ever meet. I remember that because it really said it all. We are so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Susan Horwitz, Brookline and South End

Dear Sandra and Family,

Please accept our sympathies on your loss. We feel so lucky that we had the privilege of knowing Coach Walsh. Joseph attended the exhibition game at O'Donnell Field on the Tuesday Coach passed. He would have done whatever the Coach told him to do. We will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,

Joey and I were good friends back in the late 70's. I was deeply saddened when I read that he had passed away. I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to the entire Walsh family. He was most certainly a unique and very special person and if you met him you were instantly at ease. With Joey's passing I am now certain that there is "baseball in heaven". God bless you all.

Dear Walsh Family, I played sports with Joe while we were students at Suffolk in the 1970s. He had the best personality. How could anyone not like Joe? Only good thoughts remain. God bless you.

Tori, I am so saddened by the loss of your dad. I know this time is so hard for you and your family. Just be sure to lean on eachother and share in the memories. Bless you all.

It is with heavy heart that I express my deepest condolences to Coach's family and loved ones, especially to Sandra and his girls. I was fortunate enough to be coached by Joe in baseball and in cross country and later had the opportunity to be his graduate assistant in the Athletic Department at Suffolk. Words cannot express the profound sense of loss I feel, on so many levels. Not only was he my coach, he was my boss, my mentor and more importantly my friend. I will miss him immensely. I was...

Dear Sandra, Tori, Holly, Katie and Kasey, My heart goes out to you at this sad time. I remember your loving and beautiful family during your time in Marion. May precious memories and the strength of family and friends sustain you. Love, Kelly, Tim, Aimee, Timmy, Chloe Kelleher

Our deepest condolences to Coach Joe Walsh's family and to his Harvard Baseball Family. It was a sincere pleasure to know him. He was an amazing gentlemen with a big, warm personality, and quick to laugh. He spoke often of his love for his family and the joy of his baseball camp. He was a wonderful person to work with and I was always delighted to assist him in any way as he was to asssit others. You don't often meet a man like him and I am honored that I had the chance to know him. He will...
