Ludie Wyonia Montgomery, 89, of Tuscumbia, passed away Jan. 5, 2013.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services to begin at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Dwight Rivers is officiating.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clearn and Victoria Rea; three sisters, Exie Nash, Alma Braley and Ruby King; brothers, Berlon, Bobby, Ford, Athel, Amos, Earl, Fred and Arlee Rea.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, William W. Montgomery; son, Dwight Montgomery; daughter, Patsy Rhodes (Gene); grandchildren, Donna Bragwell, Melba Morrow (David), Kelly Hulsey (Jeff), Alex Montgomery (Melissa) and Kevin Montgomery; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; wonderful brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jeff Hulsey, David Morrow, Taylor Hamilton, Kevin Montgomery, Alex Montgomery and Josh Cochran. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Summerall, Danny Simpson and Jackie Bevis.
Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Pride Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years. She loved flowers, especially her roses, cooking for family and friends, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother.
