CURTIS, Pauline P., 78, of Richmond died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Chippenham Medical Center. Mrs. Curtis was a native of Fauquier County and the daughter of the late Fleming and Mary Virginia Payne. She grew up on a dairy farm and was a graduate of Fauquier High School. A former resident of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Curtis was a member of Ferry Farm Baptist Church. Upon moving to the Richmond area she became a member of Central Baptist Church in Chesterfield. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Curtis; son, Mark M. Curtis; and daughter-in-law, Michele K. Bacon. Survivors include three children, Gary V. Curtis, Audrey R. Seay and Cynthia L. Cordell; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 15 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
