Shirley Hite

HITE, Shirley Powers, 74, of Dundas, Va., died July 5, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Lynn and Almeta Powers and the widow of Raymond Hite. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Wright (Betty), Ronnie Hite (Cindy), all of Kenbridge, Donnie Hite and Jeff Hite (Tammy), all of Dundas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Braddy (Odelle) of La Crosse; and one brother, Elson Powers (Dorothy) of Dundas; and special friend, Helen Hite. Shirley was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Danieltown. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. with interment in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, Va.
