I remember us talking about video games in south Anna years ago and when I got the news I was deeply saddened that I lost a great friend, more so the world lost a great soul & human being. My sincerest condolences to the family. Rest in paradise brother

Michael's smile was amazing. He ALWAYS would brighten up your day. I can't believe he's gone, but I know he's in a better place watching down on all of us. Rest in peace, Bolden. We love you.

I will always remember Michael's infectious smile and his quick laughter as he attended Patrick Henry High School. He was a wonderful young man who will be missed. My prayers go out to Michael's family and friends.

To the Smith & Bolden families, Bolden was such a beautiful young man with a great smile. Although I just met him a few months ago, it seemed as if I had known him much longer. He had such a beautiful personality that I'm sure will be missed by all! Rest assured knowing that Bolden is now resting peacefully in the arms of the Almighty.

Michael you were a great friend and more growing up from grade school to high school, I moved some years back and lost touch with everyone until Facebook, I am at least glad I got back in touch with you. "Bolden" as we call him, became a very special part of my family. I can think of a million memories which include him from sharing holidays, birthdays and just goofing off. We also went to school together from South Anna to P.H. I will miss him greatly. I consider him my brother and love him very much. He was an exceptional person and I know God is with him now. We all lost a brother but God now has another angel. He and his wonderful smile will not be forgotten!!

I taught Michael 6th grade math and science at Liberty Middle School. As I recall, he didn't always have his homework, he talked too much in class and he never stopped moving....BUT..... Michael was an excellent student AND HE WAS MY FRIEND. He always participated in class, he performed well on his assignments and he had an incredible knowledge base. For me, it was a perfect balance. Oh, don't let me forget the questions...the many, many questions. Michael was so inquisitive. I wish I had access to Google back then. Wow, such fond memories. Michael could have easily won 'the most likeable student' award from his teachers and peers. I can see his smile everyone remembers; only mine always came with a story. Michael always charmend his way in and out of things. He always won me over. What an infectious personality. After being in education for more than 20 years, it's difficult to remember everyone. There are however, those students who make lasting positive impressions. Michael Lee Bolden was such a student. Michael, I will keep you close to my heart and think of you often. I will see you again, my brother. I'm also sending gentle hugs to Michael's family, friends, and my former student at LMS. MAY THE PEACE OF CHRIST BE WITH YOU ALL.
