Edd Morris Mize

Edd Morris Mize, 88, of Spotsylvania, died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Mary Washington Hospital. Survivors include his devoted wife of 67 years, Nell of Hughes Home in Fredericksburg; his daughter and devoted caregiver, Mamie M. Andrews of Mechanicsville; daughter, A. Jean Wilcox of Richmond; brother-in-law, Charles L. Bailey and wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Agnes B. Hughes and husband, Jack; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Wanda K. Hardee. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 29 at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel, Fredericksburg, with Rev. Maurice Timberlake and Rev. Jim Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 28 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Spotsylvania Rescue Squad, P.O.
