William PLEASANTS Obituary

PLEASANTS, Deacon William Matthew, 60, of Richmond, formerly of Varina (Gravel Hill), died October 2, 2010. Surviving are his devoted wife, Deborah J. Pleasants; two children, Floranda L. Hines and Floyd S. Logan III; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; three brothers, James, Alvin and Keith Pleasants; aunt, Hazel Brown; mother-in-law, Malinda S. Jones; five brothers-in-law, devoted Charles Walker; five sisters-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews, devoted, Robin Baker; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 2011 Fairmount Ave. Dr. Herbert L. Ponder officiating. Dr. Joseph Godfrey, eulogist.
