It has been 43 days and the comforting of the Holy Spirit has keep me with peace as I requested,I am reaching out to those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to do so because in times such as this you will need Him, I thank God that my mother made sure that I received Him in my early years and was prepared with the Word,This was my Mother's Legacy to me.

It has been 43 days and the comforting of the Holy Spirit has keep me at peace just as I requested, Those who donot know God should reach out for him today, He is the only One that can substain you in a time such as this, The peace that I have is a God kind of peace and I am thankful that my Mother made sure that I received him in my early years, That is her Legacy to me.

Gramma, you will be missed dearly. I wont ever forget the time we shared together, I will keep on cooking and making sure not to put my belly in anyone else hands. I learned a great deal from you and I will never forget the way you made me feel. I love you very much and I'll try to keep them "outlaws" away.

To all of Florence's Children:Patricia, Alice, Clark, Mingo and Rodney
I always admired the relationship your mom had with my mother-in-law, Sister Bessie Howell. It was genuine and I also remember how she cried at her funeral. There were no words to say then as are now. I remember when we lived on Glenan Drive and it was always nice to have church family living in your neighborhood. Please know that I only found out about her passing on today (1-10-'11) and it is with the utmost regret we (Charles and I) were not able to attend. I will be praying for your strength in the Lord because I know what you all meant to each other. Continue to be blessed and in the days ahead just know that God cares and so do we.

In times like this no matter how many years past, one will remember the fondest memory of a loved one. I can see my mother and you sharing a laugh. I remember coming to your home when you lived on Jeff D. with my sister's. Alice would watch us while Patricia would be some where in the house. I even recall taking a snip of Patricia hair with some scissors LOL. It seems so yesterday. Though as life would be, we all grew up and went our seperate ways. But if any one ever knew you Ms.Florence, or had a chance to be in your company they could only love you. You were stern but fair. You were loving to everyone, even when we do not have enough love for ourselves. Your physical being is gone, but your beautiful spirit will LIVE ON in each heart whose life you touched.
