Dear Galen: Remember me, your first wife's best friend Vickie B. When I heard you had passed, Beth and I had a good cry together. Whenever I saw you, you always were waiting with a drink ready for me, gin and tonic as I walked in the door to see you and Beth and the family when you made it to Charlotte at Ben and Katherine's. What I remember of you is a great guy who will be truly missed.
God bless you man, so how's your new life in your new world? Great I bet.
Hugs.

My sincere condolences to Gator's family. I knew him from many years of working with him for Dominion. Gator and I spent a week in Wellsville, New York, working on a Terry turbine from NAPS. Wellsville is the home of Gabby Hayes we spent all week looking for Gabby and havn't found him yet. Gator will be remembered as one of the "GOOD GUYS" by the people blessed with the opportunity work for or with him.

My heartful and sincere condolences to all the family members. I worked with Gator for many years in Dominion VA Power and knew him for over 25 years. I met his first wife in 1980's and I know Kathy for very long time. I just want to tell you that Gator was a one of a kind. He always smiled even when things were not right. He was in my car when he had his first heart attack many years ago and we were coming back from visiting a friend in hospital . I will miss him and wish you all the best.

My sincere condolences to all the family. Galen will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. I have known him over 37 years, he is and was always considered family to me. Every time I saw him he always had that sweet smile and always so pleasant to be around and talk to, I will miss him dearly. We shared so many good memories over the years, they will never be forgotten. He always talked about his love for his kids, I know you will miss him very much, and I am so sorry for the loss of your dearly loved father. Galen, I love you, may you rest in peace.

My parents are Bobby & Brenda Langston and were close friends of Galen's. My father worked with Galen for many years before his passing several years ago. I considered Galen to be much like an uncle. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing as he was truly a great and honorable man. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

Kathy and family, Gator was such a wonderful man, always happy and friendly, even though he was in pain most of the time. Kathy I know he was the light of your life, please take comfort in knowing how much he loved you, and you were fortunate enough to experience, for even a short while, a GREAT love. He will remain in our hearts until we see him again. Love,Lynda
