ARTHUR CHAPMAN Obituary

CHAPMAN, Arthur "Ducky" Anderson Jr., of Richmond, went to be with the Lord at age 59, on October 12, 2010, after an extensive battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his son, Arthur III; and is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter, Rebecca; son-in-law, Michael Martin; grandchildren, Michael and Miranda Martin, Arthur IV and Courtney Chapman; sister, Janet Bowling; brother, Albert Chapman; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Arthur was a member of New Hope Church of Christ in Chesterfield. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a welder and industrial mechanic; he took great pride in his work and was highly respected by all he worked with. Arthur loved to go fishing and boating; he found great joy in spending time with his family on the James River. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Interment Sunset Memorial Park Friday at 11 a.m.
