GRANT, Granville G. Sr., 79, of Richmond, died September 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine W. Grant; and a daughter, Mary Virginia Michael. He is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Lawson and her husband, Rob; two sons, John W. Grant and his wife, Judy, and Granville G. Grant Jr. and his wife, Mimi; eight grandchildren, Rick Michael, Trip Lawson, Rachel Lawson, Grant Lawson, Mary Katherine Grant, Emily Grant, Abigail Grant and Meredith Daniels. His remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and where funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
