I did not know until today that both Mr and Mrs Branham had passed away. I went to their house today to talk to Mr. Branham, no legal stuff, but something I knew he would know the answer to, and I knew he would love to talk old stuff. Even when this man retired he still did my divorce back in 2004 and he told me then, "I will get you out of this but you had better not jump from the pan to the fire", he just knew I was going to remarry within weeks of my divorce, he was wrong! I used to go and just talk to him, not legal, but he did my grandfather's divorce, and then when my grandparents took me to live he handled that paper work and I am over 50 so I have known that man all my life. I know he is in a better place and I know his family and friends all miss him. Enjoy your peace Mr. Branham, you deserve it! Beth Hershey

I see in my cousin Hudson's guestbook relatives that I do not know, but now through Lola, Margaret, Becky and Stanley's tribute on this web site, I know they're there. It's like Hudson is putting together a family reunion. I feel like I'm at Uncle Gar's place with all of you and with all the others who remember Hudson so kindly.

It was such a privilage for me to get to know Hudson through Leonard. Len has so many stories of his and Hud's young years and so much admiration for Lola. I know your hearts are broken but be assured he is now resting, free from pain and awaiting a reunion with all of you "over there". I was so honored that he asked for my "deviled eggs" for his birthday and it was such a pleasure to do so. Leonard and I send our love to all the family.

Our prayers are with you during this time of adjusting to Mr. Branham's relocation to his eternal heavenly home. We look forward to meeting him again in that perfect place. Besides his kindness to our son, we also remember his gracious help with a legal matter.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Branham and the rest of the family.
"Lawyer Branham" as my grandmother, Mattie Watson, used to call him, was a true gentlemen and friend, even as I had the privilege to find out even a year or two ago when he helped me interpret an insurance situation for my mother without charge.
I also had the privilege of being shown the day lilly that Lola had planted and named in honor of my grandmother.
God bless you all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. There was never a better "foster Dad". I can truly say that he was like a father to me growing up.I was always welcome with a hug and a plate of green fried tomatoes.
