Aunt Evelyn, Diane, Jean and Joan I am sorry about the loss of your father. It is not easy to say goodbye even though you saw his pain. Keep his memories close and one day he will meet you in heaven to be with you again.

I will miss so many things about Grandpa, especially his big bear hugs & the way he always made me laugh. I have many things that I inherited from him including my blue eyes, love of strawberries, stubborness at times, determination, & sense of humor. These traits & memories will be with me forever as well as the love we had for each other.

Aunt Evelyn, Girls and family,
So sorry for your loss. Mark and I wish that we were closer to be able to attend the memorial. It has been a very long time since we have seen any of you but, Mark and I will always remember the time we spent at your home Aunt Evelyn when we were on our honeymoon and the nice visits we were able to have with every one. Time does help to heal the pain but, the loss is always there. Hold close your memories.

Dear Evelyn and girls,
My mother called us to tell us of Wayne's passing. We are so sorry for all of you to have lost such a large and wonderful part of your lives. We so enjoyed having both Evelyn and Wayne meet us at our home to visit with my parents not that long ago. Wayne always brought laughter and fun wherever he went.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Evie,
Bob and I send our condolences to you and your family. It is not easy to say that final good-bye to a loved one, and having to do so during the holidays makes it even more difficult. We know that Uncle Wayne will be greatly missed by you, your girls and your extended family.
Although you were unable to attend our wedding, I was so happy to have your surprise visit to us in Clio so that Bob was able to meet you and Uncle Wayne. My family will miss him, as well.
Love,
Connie

Mom,
Dad couldn't have been a better father. I loved him so much & I will miss all the laughter he brought into our lives. He was so proud of us & of you. He loved you so much especially for 60 years of marriage. You could tell all the way to the end. He wanted you by his side. Life will be missing a wonderful man. He had such a sense of humor that will be missed so much. I love you MOM
