Bud was a kind soul who will be greatly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him. I hope the memories his family and friends have of him will bring comfort through this difficult time.

As a former co-worker of Bud in Berkeley, California, I know that Bud was a compassionate Christian who will be missed by those he served.

Our sincere sympathy to you, Bud's family, as you grieve the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Working with Bud many years through our long-term care connections, often I would hear of you all. It was obvious that he cared deeply about his family and also about the patients that he helped every day. God Bless you and grant you strength and peace as you endure your loss. I was shocked then saddened to hear of Bud's passing. He had that kind of smile and low-key, engaging personality that made one feel comfortable with him immediately. Although I did not work directly with Bud, saw him only at social work activities, and have known him a short time, I will remember Bud for time to come. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
