WEIMER, Mrs. Adranetta Ervin, age 90, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away at 9:22 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her home with her daughter. She was born in Nutter Fort, W.Va., on February 5, 1919, a daughter of the late James Henry Middleton Ervin and Etta Belle Bruffey Ervin. Her husband, Kenneth Francis Weimer, whom she married on January 29, 1947, preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Weimer Lentz Poole and husband, Thomas Allen Poole, of Blacksburg, Va.; four sons, Kenneth Francis Weimer II and wife, Betty, of Richmond, Va., William Milton Weimer and wife, Kathie, of Mechanicsville, Va., John Middleton Weimer of Capon Springs, W.Va., Michael Warren Weimer and wife, Deborah, of Winchester, Va; two sisters, Bonnie Belle Hawkins and Merceline Allen Stevens, both of Nutter Fort, W.Va. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Adranetta was a kind and gentle person who took pride in doing everything right. She valued the education of her children. Mrs. Weimer had been employed as an administrative assistant for the Dept. of Child Protective Services for the Commonwealth of Virginia and assisted her husband in his firm of Kenneth F. Weimer, A.I.A. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Nutter Fort, W.Va. at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adranetta E. Weimer 4-H Incentive Endowed Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 9, Hanover, Va. 23069, with checks made payable to: VA Tech Foundation Account # 885510.

To Mary Ann and her brothers,
You have truly celebrated a life and presented a memory for your mother that everyone will remember. The funeral services were beautiful and I was proud to be part of this family. God Bless your mother and God Bless each of you.
