ALBERT BOUWENSE

BOUWENSE, Albert, of Richmond, 96, departed this life on April 5, 2010. He was a man of great faith who loved the Lord and gave from his heart to help others in need. He always encouraged others to do their best and to believe in themselves. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Edith Chaney Bouwense; his daughter, Helene Wilson; son, Robert Bouwense. He also is survived by a daughter and son by marriage, Janet Hatchett and David Chaney; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., and where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Falling Creek Baptist Church in Al's memory.
