GUYTON, Albert Goodall, 83, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Barlow Guyton; sisters, Cecelia Guyton, Claudia Jones; and brother, Hubert "Bootsie" Guyton. He is survived by his children, Russell A. Guyton and wife, Nancy, Laura G. Epperley and husband, Jay, David B. Guyton and wife, Kim; five grandchildren, Tyler, Davan, Charlie, Joey and Sara; brothers, H. Roswell Guyton, E. Linwood Guyton, L. Christian Guyton, Stuart Guyton, Sherwood Guyton and Calvin Guyton. Mr. Guyton was a former member of Third Presbyterian Church and was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church, where he was active in all aspects of church work. Family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Sunday at Beulah Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church, 7252 Beulah Church Road, Mechanicsville Va. 23111.
