Allene Peek Miles

MILES, Allene Peek, was born on December 27, 1916 in Atlanta, Ga. where she lived the majority of her life. She passed away on December 31, 2009 in Richmond, Va. She was active in her community and church, including 35 years of volunteer service to Crawford Long Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ivan M. Miles; and their two sons, John and Bill. She is survived by their daughter, Mary M Potter of Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held on January 4, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Tenth Street United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga., or Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 262, Chesterfield, Va. 23832.
