Dear Family and Friends of Amy Norman -May the fond memories that Amy left us with help lighten your hearts over time. Early in my career, while at Bank of Boston, I had the pleasure of interfacing with Amy and observing the impact her expertise added to the company. She was the life of any corporate outing; lived her life to the fullest and her sense of humor cast a positive light for many of us, even on the grimmest days working around the clock to deliver to the SEC for one merger or another! It was a privilege to have known her and to have shared her joie d'vivre. She will be missed. God bless.

So sad to hear about Amy. In my first year at BankBoston Amy and I had offices next door to each other. She was wonderful person to work with and one of the hardest working people I ever met. Although thinking about her passing away is sad, it also caused me to remember the many funny and happy times Amy and I shared a BKB moment.

I just learned that my good friend Amy passed away. I am shocked and devastated. We were good friends when we worked together at BankBoston and will always remember our good times at the Meridien Bar for drinks and conversation with Dick Marcy. I last heard from her over the holidays and we made plans to meet in D.C. just to enjoy ourselves. SInce her move to Charlotte and then to Richmond, we didn't connect as often as we should have. I sincerely regret not knowing how ill she was because I too would have supported her. Life is just too fleeting. I am so sad to know I will not see Amy again.

Amy, Catherine and I met in 2007 at a CMPD conference in Scottsdale. We learned we lived within 100 miles of each other and became our own support group meeting monthly as we could. Amy provided us all she could with her knowledge of doctors and treatments and most of all, her caring. She loved life, was truly brave and strong, never giving up to the very end. I was to visit with Amy the afternoon of her passing. I am most sad that never happened. She will be missed. Many thoughts and prayers are with Amy's family at this sad time.

I am so sad to hear the news of Amy’s passing. As a member of our mystery book club, she had many insightful comments and added much to our discussions. During our monthly dinners she shared many happy memories of her family, sailing and skiing, and of being on her condo board in Boston. Although we knew she was ill, we didn’t realize how serious her condition was. We will all miss her. May she rest in peace.

I was saddened to read of Amy's passing. Like others who wrote in, I had not seen Amy in many years. Some of my fondest childhood memories include sailing the Maine coast with Amy and her wonderful family.
Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Amy and I shared similar health issues and, along with another friend, Julie Johnston, met regularly to support each other. Amy was one of the most caring people I have known and also one of the most courageous. I will miss her a lot. My condolences to her family. Catherine O'Neill (Richmond,VA)

I am saddened to learn of Amy's passing. She was a great mentor to me while at BankBoston and remained a friend in the years since. She had interests in a broad array of fields - anthropology, finance, opera and reading, just to name a few. Her intelligence and quick wit I will remember. My sincere sympathy to her family. I will miss her.
