May God watch over the family and friends of Barbara during this time, especially through the holidays. Not only did Barbara touch our hearts, but she will FOREVER remain in our hearts. I know that there are many, including myself, that could honestly say that we would not be where we are today had it not been for Barbara. I'm saddened that I had not seen her in the last year, but I'm very grateful to have known her and to call her my friend. RIP Barbara, you will forever be missed and loved.

To Barbara's family,
I was truly blessed to have her as a friend on the Rescue Squad. She was a loving and giving person. Her smile wasinfectious and her hearty laughter made everyone around her smile. She made great contributions to the local health care community and will be sorely missed. She was a good person and loyal friend.

To Barbara's Mom:
The community of Emergency Medical Services and local Rescue Squads have lost a great friend. Barbara has helped many, many people become an EMT so they could go on to help others.
Barbara meant so much to Rescue Squad families all over the Northern Neck / Middle Peninsulas area.
I know that the family at the Mattaponi V.R.S. are truly saddened by her passing. But we are proud she was part of our extended family. She came out to the VAVRS District 8 meeting last week and was truly excited about being with some of her old friends. She told us she hardly slept the night before because she was so excited about being able to attend Saturday's meeting. We are thankful she was able to come and visit! We missed you and wish you were able to come with her.
To Brittany and Brandon:
Thank you for taking such good care of your Aunt Barbara, now take care of Grandma, Be thankful that your Aunt Barbara Loved you guys so much! She meant so much to many other people. You should be very proud she was such a great lady.
To Barbara:
We Love You, Rest in Peace, Thank You so much for everything you have done for our Mattaponi Squad and EMS everywhere. We are proud just to have known you!

I am so very sad to see that Barbara has left us! I knew her first through the bank, then from seeing her bring patients into the emergency room, and finally as a co-worker at the hospital. No matter how tired, no matter how busy she was, she always had a ready smile and was always ready to go the extra mile, for patients and for colleagues.

My condolences to her family and friends.

God Bless, Barbara!
