Bernice Jones

JONES, Mrs. Bernice P., went home to be with her Lord on December 30, 2009. She was the widower of Carlton T. Jones. She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Sharonda. She is survived by one daughter, Parthenia Hubbard; and one son, Earl Johnson (Mamie). She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other devoted family members and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St. Remains will lie in state Monday, 10 a.m., at Great Hope Baptist Church, 2101 Venable St., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Dr. Earl L. Bledsoe, Pastor, officiating. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
