Brenda and I shared our first prom together at Manchester High School when we were 17 years old. Her Father, Ressie, scared me to death every time we had a date---she was always home early!--Brenda was a beautiful and lovely person----we stayed friends over the years---I will miss her.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have missed out on knowing her and you. May our Lord touch you in a His special way and comfort you during this time.
I was astounded to see that Brenda had grandmother's (Maude Elsie Foust Lineberry) beautiful eyes.
If there is anything I may do for you, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Janice Lineberry McPherson (Keith's daughter)

Kim, (or Kimmie, as Brenda called you) no bond is as great as that between a mother and daughter and a long phone conversation with Brenda about a month ago gave hints to how much she loved you and how proud she was of you. Please accept our sincere sympathy . We were friends and neighbors back when you and our daughter, Karen, were growing up. We have many good memories of our times together. John fondly remembers Brenda from their Manchester High days. May you gain strength and peace in the days ahead from the beautiful memories of your mom. John & Pat Holloway, Midlothian, Va.

I remember Brenda (Mrs. Atkins, as we called her) very well. Kim and I had lots of fun times with her in their home. Brenda made my first grilled cheese sandwich with real butter which tasted wonderful but the butter didn't smell very good cooking:) Kim and I used to love playing moroccas to Cecilia as we danced. We used to love riding in the car with her because she would go fast...oops should I have said that:) I shared all of this to show that Brenda will be greatly missed and invested special time into all her knew her. Prayers and love to Kim and family.

I am so sorry to hear about Brenda, I had no idea she had breast cancer, she sold my husband and I 3 houses and then I became a realtor myself. She will be missed deeply. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
