Jay and Family,
I was so shocked to hear of the passing of Brenda. She was a true Lady and Accomplished Leader to all who knew her...and she was my friend! The last time I saw Brenda was right before she retired from BB&T. Everyone loved her there, fellow employees and patrons.
Brenda will always be remembered as a person who contributed tirelessly to all - the Chesterfield Jaycees, the VA. Jaycees, the Life Membership Association and the VA JCI Senate and others.
Jay, Brenda will be forever in our hearts and memories. God Bless You and your children at your time of Loss.

On behalf of the Virginia Jaycees Life Member Association, I am extending my condolences to Brenda's husband, Jay, and her family on the loss of your beloved Brenda. I did not know her personally, but her recognition by the Jaycee organization as a Life Member and Senator speaks to her character and heart. I'm sure she will be sorely missed by many. May the comfort of God be with you in this time of grief.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. For me, You and Brenda were part of that village. Our hearts and prayers are with you as we mourn the loss of a beautiful lady, with a kind, sweet smile and a wonderful giving heart. Over the years you opened your home to our children as if they were your own.
I know it will take time for you to mourn your loss. During this time I hope you'll find comfort in looking at the accomplishment of raising your children into loving, caring adults. And take pride in the fact that both you and Brenda had a big part in my two sons growing into the loving, caring adults they are today. They will always have wonderful memories of being a part of your family.

Jay, I can remember many good times together, at the Camp, at National Convention, at local chapter meetings. We would dodge the deer on the late night rides home from all over the state. "Ahhhh...It's good to be home" we would say, when we crossed the Chesterfield County line. The Jaycees gave us the opportunity to get to know Brenda and you. We know you are carrying a lot of grief right now, and we can only pray that you will hold on to the memories of "the good times" that YOU remember. We can only offer words, prayers, and best wishes. Please take care of yourself and your family. Brenda will be a part of all or our lives. Thank you for sharing her with the Jaycees. Thank you both for being such good friends and great representatives of our organization. She is in a better place tonight. YOU stay safe and sound.
