Brenda Lindsey Marriott

MARRIOTT, Brenda Lindsey, 65, of Richmond, died July 4, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Carlyle and Bertha Lindsey. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Neblett Marriott; son, William Carlyle Marriott; and sister, Alberta Lindsey, all of Richmond, Va. Brenda attended R.P.I. (now the Virginia Commonwealth University) and was a librarian at Richmond Newspapers Incorporated for 15 years. She grew up at Calvary United Methodist Church, where she kept children in the nursery for many years. For the last 25 years she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Ave., where a memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel-Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road. Interment will be private.
