I will always love you buga I still remember the day mommy brought you home from the hospital me and kevin were fighting over whose room you would sleep in man being here without you or mommy is the hardest thing i've ever had to live through. I remember the night before mommy died me and her were on the phone and she said to me christopher you make sure you take care of your brothers and I said I PROMISE i WILL AND I TOLD HER TO STOP TALKING LIKE SHE WAS GOING SOMEWHERE AND THE NEXT DAY SHE WAS GONE. feel like I failed I wish I could have been ther that day. I'm your oldest brother and I will always keep you and mommy closest to my heart.

I love you more than anything, and I know when you were still here with me, we shared our love like nothing else. There isn't a day that goes by without me thinking of you and all of the times we shared. Noone will ever replace you or even come before you. I can't wait to share our love when I meet you again because you were my soulmate. I love you and enjoy your time with the Lord and your mother. ***

I want to express my sympathy and condolences to Cliff's family and friends. He will be missed by them for sure. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that he is at peace, now with his Mom and others who have gone on before. We will all one day make this journey after life; it is comforting to know he will be there to welcome us. I want to mention that I have observed a few of his friends, including my daughter, Melissa, have grown from his death. It is not exactly the maturing experience that one wishes for teenagers and young adults; but his death has had a profound impact on his young friends. He has in death, helped them appreciate and value the friendships and life they have 'now.' They realize more keenly that tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us. We all need to live each day the best we can so as not to have regrets. We should show and tell all those important to us, how much we love and appreciate them. It is appropriate that all feel a deep loss. Only time will help lessen the pain. Cliff lives on in our memories of those whose lives he touched. I hope and pray, with time, your pain will lessen and the good memories will remain and comfort you. Sincerely, Helen Hinshaw, a Mom of another James River High School Graduate
