Constance Beverly

BEVERLY, Constance Graham, born July 26, 1925, passed away on Friday April 23, 2010. Connie was born in McClung, Virginia, and was the daughter of Gerald C. and Ida Pearl Graham. Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward Lee Beverly, and is survived by her three children, Eddie Beverly and wife, Barbara of Loganville, Ga., Steve Beverly and wife, Kay of Richmond, Va. and Lisa Wilbourne and husband, Kirk of Cary, N.C. Connie ( Grandma Scootie ) is survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Connie is also survived by her siblings, Juanita Creighton, Dorothy Frawner, Elizabeth Jenkins, Donald Graham, all of Richmond, and Lester Graham of Newport News, Va.; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. For many years Connie was an active member of Ginter Park Women's Club. She enjoyed many years of fellowship with the Christian Women's Club as well. Connie was a former member of Grove Ave. Baptist and Hatcher Memorial Baptist, with her most current church home being Second Baptist. The family will have a visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27 at the Woodland Union Church located at 347 McClung Dr., Millboro, Va., with a funeral and graveside service to follow.
