JACKSON, Denver M., 72, of Louisa, Va., died May 27, 2010. He was a veteran, and loved to hunt, fish, and play bluegrass music. Surviving are daughter, Sonja K. Tate and husband, Jerry, of Louisa, Va.; son, Denver E. Jackson and wife, Violia, of Kents Store, Va.; eight grandchildren, Tricia Sullivan and husband, Mike, Curtis Tate and wife, Sheryl, Bryan Tate, Jay Tate and wife, Torrie, Melissa McDonough and husband, Frank, Ira Jackson, Ben Jackson, and Wendy Stewart and husband, Tom; four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 4 at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, W.Va. Graveside service will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, W.Va.
