Rhonda and Rusty, It seems like yesterday that we sat, laughed, and picked crabs together at your parents home in Deltaville. I will always treasure your parents kindness, generosity, and the love that was shown to all of us kids, those of us, who were not their own. I am thinking of you and in much sadness, Cecelia

Rhonda I am so sorry for your loss, I am thinking of you and your family. Your Dad was a great friend to my grandparents at the river. I will miss his nightly ride to the end of the road to watch the sunset on the river, and never once did he come by and not ask about how my family was doing, such a nice man. I will miss him this summer and in the years to come.

Love always,

Rhonda, Leroy and Rusty. I cannot tell you how much we all will miss our "buddy." The man who would tell me stories and make me laugh. I know Ronnie will miss him as well as my kids. We all loved our favorite "river" neighbor. Take care and if you need anything at all please do not hesitate to call. God be with you and your family and give you strength to get through your grief.

Rhonda, I never met you guys while down at the River but your dad meant alot to our family. My kids loved to come down and see Mr. Rowland. We will never forget him and are truly saddened by his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Rhonda, Rusty and Leory, words cannot express how sorry I am for the passing of your Daddy or the love in my heart for him. I could write over 30 years of memories from childhood til now. Find happiness and peace knowing that he is now with your beloved mother and the love of his life. I'm sure they are already fishing. I can't imagine how hard this will be on each of you, just remember I'm only a phone call away. Love you.

He was my friend. He and his wife were great friends with my parents. After he lost his wife, he found joy in those in the Deltaville community while dealing with his grief. He always wore a smile around me, and was a mentor to so many of the "kids of Deltaville" during the 70's and 80's. After my dad lost his wife, he and my dad shared quality time together, swapping fishing tales and talking about the great times they had as husbands to their wives. He loved it when it would snow in Deltaville.

May God Bless him and all of his wonderful sons and
his wonderful daughter, Rhonda.

His smile warmed my heart and his laughter filled me with joy.

Now he belongs to the angels.
