To The Coley/Griffin family and friends, I had the esteem privilege of working and knowing Mama Dot from our days together at Capital One for a number of years. I wasn't saved and living for the Lord at that time, BUT GOD, used Mama Dot in many ways to reach me and bring me back to HIM. Mama Dot showed love to each and everyone. Never judging a soul, her smile continuously lit the darkness in that place. One day when I felt at my weakest/lowest, Mama Dot asked me, "What was my favorite gospel song, when I sang in the chorus previously,... Next thing I know, she and I, were singing "I Won't Complain" as the machine continued to run the work. Such a burden lifted off of my shoulders! Thank you Mama Dot for allowing our Lord God use you in such a way for everyone! You will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! Tamara Farmer "Tammy"

I am so sorry to hear abot Mama Dot. I just found out today and I am so sorry to have missed the funeral. I just saw her a few weeks ago and I was so happy to have been able to talk to her. We worked together at Capital One and she meant the world to everyone, it wasn't the same when she left. She was such a sweet and special lady. She meant alot to me and my husband, Jason, who also worked with her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. She will never be forgotten.
