Dorothy Wade SNELLINGS

SNELLINGS, Dorothy Wade, 86, of Richmond, passed away October 27, 2009. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earle Snellings; daughter, Doris Ann Snellings. She is survived by her three daughters, Judith Wright of Richmond, Dianne Moseley and husband, Bruce, of Chesterfield, Victoria "Vicky" Hitch and husband, Oliver, of Cobbs Creek; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Snellings was a retired nurse with St. Elizabeth Hospital. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, Va. 23220. Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
