Douglas Enroughty

ENROUGHTY, Douglas E. Jr., "DJ," 28, of Henrico passed away May 15, 2010. DJ was born in New York City on August 15, 1981 to Karen M. and Douglas E. Enroughty Sr. He is survived by one son, Aiden James Enroughty-Snipes of Richmond. Also mourning his loss are his beloved brother, David Ryan Enroughty of Henrico, and maternal grandmother, Florence Angrason of New York. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Theodore Angrason, paternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Enroughty, and cousins, Dana Schroeder and Robert Enroughty III. DJ also leaves many aunts and uncles, Kenneth and Eileen Angrason of New Jersey, Lawrence and Joanne Angrason of South Carolina, Anne and Edward Edwards of New York, Jean Enroughty of Mechanicsville, Robert Enroughty of Highland Springs, Claire Flanagan of New York, and Linda and David Merricks of Goochland. DJ also leaves a host of cousins and a very close family friend, Andrew Adkins. DJ loved his son Aiden so very much. He loved his family and his country. DJ had a lifelong passion for trains, world history, and was well versed on current events. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alliance of Mental Illness, P.O. Box 8260, Richmond, Va. 23226-0260.
