Douglas QUINN Obituary

QUINN, Mr. Douglas Rogers, 74, of Blackstone, Va., died November 9, 2009. Mr. Quinn was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lois Elliott Quinn; his daughters, Debbie Quinn of Lacey, Washington, Cindy Quinn of Kenbridge, and Cheryl Lamp of Blackstone; his son, Keith Quinn of Bracey; seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters; his sister, Zodie Bostic of Pink Hill, N.C.; and his brother, Barney Quinn of Blackstone. He was also father of the late Mark Rogers Quinn. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, in the Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Jonesboro Baptist Church.
