Edmonia BOLDEN Obituary

BOLDEN, Mrs. Edmonia C., of Bungalow City, departed this life December 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo W. Bolden; two sons, Robert Coverton and Charles Bolden. She is survived by one son, Christopher Bolden; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends; a devoted friend, Edna Crump. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Thursday (today) from 7 to 8 p.m. Remains will lie in state Friday at 12 p.m. at New Bridge Baptist Church, 5807 Nine Mile Rd., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Rev. Marcus D. Martin officiating. Burial Washington Memorial Park.

I remember when you told me it was time for you to go home. What a hard day for me to let you go, such amazing woman. I thank you for teaching me how to be compassionate and a loving person. I missed you so much, each day it get's better. You would love to see you great great grandchildren they are beautiful. Thank you so much for being my beautiful grandmother.
