Trey & Liz,
I just recently found out about your Mom’s passing. Yes, almost a year later...I regret not finding out sooner but obviously understand why I did not. I wish the best for both of you and my deepest sympathy goes out to you both. Your Mom was the best Mom. After knowing Mrs. Fernandez for 3 years (while dating Trey) I know firsthand that she lived everyday to provide for you both. She lived to make sure there was a smile on your face and you were happy. I know she is in heaven smiling down at what beautiful people you have become and she will keep checking on you for the rest of your lives. Don’t forget she is always watching and I am sure always proud of you both. Love, Brittany King Brigham

We continue to miss Beth so much at Monument Avenue Pediatrics....it's been over 8 months and still a Mom or Dad will come to my office to share a hug or shed a tear...it's a shock to some who did not know about her passing...we have her lovely picture hanging by the reception desk where her smile lit up the waiting room for so many years...Gosh, Beth...we miss you so much..!!!

As so many other people have written in this guestbook our family also had the immense pleasure of knowing Beth through Monument Ave. Pediatrics. I couldn't begin to tell you howmany amzing thoughts I have of her from her helping me with my children over 9yrs. Our 3yr old has had a tough go medically and the number of times she went above and beyond what I know anyone would have done are too many to recount. To Beth's family I hope you find some comfort in knowing that so many people appreciated her. Monument Ave. Pedoatrics will not be the same without her bright smile.

As with so many, we knew Beth from our visits to Monument Avenue Pediatrics for the past 24 years. As as so many have said, she knew our names, just by our voice on the phone. She was cheerful, helpful, interested in our children. We just loved her and I missed her voice on the phone when I called this week. She leaves big shoes to fill. She and Dr. Johnston made the office an amazing place to visit and she continued to do so every day. What a wonderful woman!

To Beth's family,
My children have been patients at Monument Avenue Pediatrics since 2003. Every time I saw Beth she was smiling and cheerful, no matter how many people were in the waiting room or how many phone lines were ringing. She always had time for a laugh or a smile, and was a wonderful presence in the waiting room. You have my heartfelt condolences.

To Beth's Family,
I just learned of Beth's passing. I knew Beth from Elementary school thru DSF graduation. Beth was a lovely, funny, caring person - we had such fun sleepovers at her house during our teens! My thoughts & prayers are with you.

To Beth's Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have been seeing Beth for the last 8 years because both of our children are patients at Monument Avenue pediatrics. If either my husband or I would call, she would always cheerfully call us by name and knew who our children were. She was always so pleasant and happy, we could all learn from her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Beth's Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Everyone is in my prayers. I did not know Beth well, in fact not at all. My children are patients at Monument Avenue Pediatrics. We have been there for 8 years. For those many years, her smile has been the one we have looked forward to every time. She was the most welcoming person ever. It was because of her we felt so comfortable at that location. I just wanted to let you that she touched even the lives of all the children in the office. She will be missed.

I am so very, very saddened by this news. I have met Beth, but did not know her well, but I did know Liz and Trey for many years. I do know that Beth was regarded as an incredibly kind and loving person, as well as a wonderful mother. I can't imagine the grief the family is feeling right now, and I offer my deepest sympathies during this difficult time.

To Beth's Family,
Her beautiful smile will be missed. We have had the pleasure of knowing Beth for 20 years from the birth of my first son Majried. All you had to say was the kids first name and she knew their last name and knew your name. Never once did she not have a smile on her face. My God continue to cover you in your time of need.

To Beth's Family,
I have been knowing Beth for 27 years (Dr. Moore & Dr. Johnston's)! We were pregnant at the same time with our kids. When she had a boy, I had a girl & when she had a girl I had a boy! She was such a beautiful person (inside & out). Monument Ave Ped's won't be the same without her. She will be missed! I pray that God gives you strength in your time of need. Heaven just received an "Angel". Love & God bless!

Trey and Liz,
You know how much we love you both and hope that you know our prayers and love are with you now more than ever.
Your mom was so kind to me, Tony, Jon Erik, Patrick and Kali over the years. I remember with such joy the packages she would send over every Christmas for every one of the kids. She was a truly remarkable woman in the way she thought of others and so full of grace in the way she handled her illness. We have all been blessed in knowing her.
But of course, her most blessed gift to us was you two. And it’s in you we will forever be blessed with her presence.
With love,
(Tia) Kari Fernandez
