Elizabeth LeRoy

LeROY, Elizabeth "Libby" Harding, of Henrico, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 8, 2010. She is survived by her husband, John B. LeRoy; three daughters, Margo House and her husband, Bill, and their five children of Katy, Texas, Gail Claus and her husband, David, and their five children of Stuttgart, Germany, and Susan Osborn and her husband, Arnie, and their four children of Garner, N.C.; her son, John B. LeRoy Jr. and his wife, Dianne, and their two children of Mechanicsville; and her sister, Mary Ann Moran of Southern Shores, N.C. Libby was a beloved wife and mother. She worked as a Pediatric Lab Technician for 20 years and as an Allergy Technician for over 20 years. She was active as a volunteer at Christ Church Episcopal for over 10 years. She was an avid gardener and a voracious reader. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at Christ Church Episcopal, 5000 Pouncey Tract Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23059. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, the Autism Society of North Carolina, the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
