Ella WINGFIELD Obituary

WINGFIELD, Ella Flippo, 88, of Henrico, died Thursday, October 22, 2009. She was born in Doswell, Va., to Cary and Lee Flippo on June 5, 1921. She was preceded in death by her son, Andy Wingfield Jr. She is survived by one sister, Martha Flippo Blount; one niece, Beverly Majzer; nephews, Buddy and Ricky Flippo, and Forrest Womble; three grandchildren, William, Annie and Elizabeth of Montana. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Hope United Methodist Church, 11325 Mount Hope Church Road, Doswell, Va. 23047. A funeral procession will leave at 11 a.m. from Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, Reid Chapel, 412 Washington Highway, Ashland, Va. 23005.
