Ellen Temple Stanley Pollard

POLLARD, Ellen Temple Stanley, 93, of Montpelier, passed away December 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Pollard. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Nelson and husband, John, and Bernadine Clay and husband, James; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pollard was a lifelong member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., and where services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
