LAMM, Eugene "Joe," 69, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2010. He worked for AAA for over 20 years and was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Scott Lamm. Surviving are his son, Lewis Eugene Lamm and his wife, Cindy; three grandchildren, Joshua, Lydia and Aislinn Lamm; great-grandchild, Nathan Lamm; and fiancee, Josephine Bowles. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice.

Joe was very good person and a great friend.I enjoyed taking Joe out to eat when he felt like going. He loved to go to Shoney's, Cracker Barrell and Cold Harbor and several other places.Joe, Jo and I enjoyed eating and going for a ride.

Thanks for being true friend. I will miss you.
