Genevieve Upshaw MOFFAT

MOFFAT, Genevieve Upshaw, 86, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, died Thursday, December 17, 2009. She had resided in Bagby, Va., Lawrenceville, Va. and Dundee, Fla. Born in Caroline County, she was the daughter of Nellie Clyde Andrews Upshaw and Edwin Thomas Upshaw. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Wozniak and her husband, Rudy, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a son, Charles Terry Moffat of Marianna, Florida; three sisters, Eloise Hubbard of Midlothian, Calista Gilmer of Wytheville, and Elaine Vaden of Richmond; two grandchildren, Christopher Moffat and Tyler Moffat; and a daughter-in-law, Rita Moffat. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. "Chip" Moffat; and two brothers, Douglas Upshaw and Dick Upshaw. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
