COOK, Glennis Knowles, 89, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 2, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William "Ed" Cook; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jason Deonanan; sons and daughters-in-law, William "Bill" and Sandra Cook, Robert "Bob" and Laura Cook, Thomas "Tom" and Gretchen Cook; sister, Gladys Reese; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cook was a longtime employee of Chesterfield County School District for over 20 years. She was passionate about her love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge road (Rte 10). Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maury cemetery.
