Gloria Baffuto

BAFFUTO, Gloria E., of Highland Springs, beloved mother of Tommy (Becky) Baffuto, and Jackie (Dave) Magee, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Baffuto. She is also survived by another son, Michael Baffuto and his wife. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, two who were especially precious and dear to her, Steven (Brooke) Baffuto and Shannon Simmons; five great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters. She was a lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary Battlefields Unit #144 for over 50 years, a member of 8/40 Richmond Salon #166, a charter member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #569, Sandston and a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge #159, Richmond. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., with an American Legion Auxiliary Service at 7:30 p.m., where funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
