PARKER, Grace Frantz, age 88, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray D. Parker. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ellen Sydnor and her husband, Ashby; two sons, Ray D. Parker Jr. and his wife, Martha, and Stephen F. Parker and his wife, Linda; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Frantz and his wife, Coleen. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Sparta, Va., with Rev. Kevin James officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church social hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Sparta, Va. 22552 or the Resident Council of Bowling Green Healthcare Center, P. O.
