Grace MONDOK Obituary

MONDOK, Grace L., 72, of Hanover County, departed this life and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her son, Calvin L. Tripp. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, George Mondok; three children, Katherine Austin, Glenn W. Tripp and Tammy Burress; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Mark, Thomas, Daniel and Stacey Mondok; two sisters, Jean E. Newton (Frank) and Mary Wright (Marion); and many nieces and nephews. She will be eternally remembered as a strong and loving woman, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and devoted friend. "Sis" will live in our hearts always. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will take place following the chapel service at 12:30 p.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park.

Aunt Gracie, I will miss you so much. Just spending one week with you years ago was such a Blessing to Ron and I. I will miss our phone conversations and your sweet words of Love,Life and family.
